Servings 2 large drinks (16 oz)
For the Drink
- 1 cup green apple juice chilled
- ½ cup lemon-lime soda chilled
- ¼ cup sour apple syrup
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 scoop lime sherbet
- Ice cubes
For Garnish
- Whipped cream
- Green sanding sugar
- Green apple slices
- Fresh mint leaves optional
- Green paper straws optional
First, get your glass ready. Pour some lime juice on a small plate and green sugar on another plate. Dip the rim of your glass in the lime juice, then in the sugar to create a pretty rim. Put some ice in your glass - fill it about ¾ full.
Now it's time to build your drink. Pour in the cold green apple juice and sour apple syrup. Give it a gentle stir with your spoon.
Next, add your fresh lime juice and slowly pour in the cold lemon-lime soda. Don't stir too hard - you want to keep the bubbles!
Add a scoop of lime sherbet on top of your drink. Watch it start to melt and swirl into the green drink - this is what makes it extra special.
Finally, make it look pretty! Add some whipped cream on top if you like, put a slice of green apple on the rim, and pop in a straw. Serve it right away while it's nice and cold.
